Depot manager, Basil McKee gives us a walk around of Modern Tyres, Magherafelt.

 

Magherafelt is a small town in Mid-Ulster with a population of over 8,000. It is home to a unique celebrity of yesteryear - Harry Gregg, goalkeeper for Northern Ireland and Manchester United during the reign of Matt Busby.

 

On the fringe of town on Aughrim Road os the Modern Tyres Magherafelt depot. This makes it a great location for the locals and for customers passing through.

 

Modern Tyres Magherafelt provides tyres, servicing, exhausts, computerised wheel alignments, batteries and brakes. It also boasts of being one of Modern Tyres biggest truck and agricultural utilities.

 

From breakdowns to on site servicing, Modern Tyres in Magherafelt covers a very broad spectrum of vehicles. The depot also has one of Modern Tyres biggest turning circles with an area that can handle the biggest trucks and tractors on the roads with ease.

 

 

Basil and his team, Sean and Declan, have between them, almost 40 years in the tyre industry making them a very tight unit that turn around even the most difficult jobs with precision and ease.
