Modern Tyres Golf Classic 2016 raises £5000 for Make-A-Wish

12 Teams went head to head at the Lough Erne Golf Resort at this years Modern Tyres Golf Classic. With over 50 golfers and special guests for the day, it was the makings of yet another memorable event.

This years Modern Tyres Golf Classic was truly a first class event. Special guests included Roy Carroll - Northern Ireland goalkeeper, Alastair Fisher - Current leader of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship and Liam Beckett - Sunday Life Sports Columnist and BBC Sports Pundit. And of course the Master of Ceremonies was the one and only whip-smart, Adrian Logan.

Over the course of many years now, the event has been held at the Lough Erne Golf Resort. A five star retreat with views to match. As always their professionalism and hospitality are second to none.

This summer ’s weather has been pretty stellar and on the day the conditions were perfect the whole day. The tee-off boasted an incredible view of Castlehume Lough and the golf course has some of the most scenic and tranquil views in Ireland.

With breakfast over, Tee-off’s finished, lunch eaten, the last teams to putt into the 18th hole, preparations began for the evening session of discussion, speeches, fine wine and fine dining.

Each of the guest speakers enlightened the diners with inspirational stories and brought a heartfelt aura to the proceedings. Roy, Alastair and Liam where all true gentlemen and provided the evening with a taste of wisdom and pride.

Adrian Logan soon made off with the serenity and replaced it with his own unique slap-bang sense of humour that brought tears to our eyes with laughter. There truly was no better host - a true Master of Ceremonies with the twists and turns of the finest game show hosts.
