“Overall we are getting more and more comfortable with competing again and really starting to get a feel for the car. Conditions across the weekend were perfect for building confidence and every mile is key.
A steady start saw us outside the top 5 on Saturday morning, across the afternoon loops we began to settle into consistent top 3 times and set a fastest time at the end of the day to lay 4th overnight, in a very close battle with the surrounding crews. Sunday morning saw us set a fastest time on the opening "Ring" stage to close in on 3rd, unfortunately we had two overshoots on the following stage which set us back. We set a further two fastest times on Sunday and coupled with some issues for other crews we finished 3rd overall.

The rally in West Cork stands out as special event, the organisers really know how to encourage spectators onto the stages and to the start / finish ramps. It has a great atmosphere and the event really has something extra from a driving point of view, the stages are super-fast and flowing.

We now look forward to the Circuit of Ireland Rally on 15th / 16th of April, which is based in Ballymena with stages running around north Antrim.”
