MODERN Tyres are located in the familiar setting on Philip Street, Waterford - the former home of Hanover Tyres. Although the name has changed, the ethos of superb customer service lives on through the exceptional staff - headed up by Eddie Lawlor, who has worked there for the last 42 years.

Eddie and his team of Mark Lawlor (Eddie’s son), Mattie Cullen and Denis Lynch are on hand six days a week to provide a top class service for your vehicle’s tyre needs.

They open from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (they don’t close for lunch) and 9am-4pm on Saturdays.

They supply and fit car, van, jeep, 4x4 and truck tyres as well as 4X4 wheel alignment services. They are your onestop, family run shop for all of your tyre related requirements.

Last year the team in the Waterford depot won the Modern Cup, an internally monitored competition carried out over the year. The Waterford branch topped the chart in several categories against 40 other Modern branches claiming the title of best depot in the Modern Tyres group.
