Castle Leslie Hosts Annual Modern Tyre Service Company Conference
’s largest independent tyre retailers, Modern Tyre Service with depots province wide choose Castle Leslie in Monaghan as its venue for their 2009 annual company conference held on the 10 and 11th January.
Monaghan is no stranger to Modern Tyre Service as its sister company D26 Tires has been based there for almost thirty years. Due to that fact they acted as hosts for the weekend.
The Modern Tyre Service annual conference is the most important event in the company calendar and is used as an opportunity to reflect on the previous year and outline new plans for the coming year.
The highlight of the conference is the presentation of the Modern Cup a prize which goes to the best performing depot during 2008. The race for the cup was the closest ever and as such there were two depots; Tempo Road in Enniskillen and Duncrue Street in
Belfast that could not be divided. These two depots will share the Modern Cup in 2009.
Each year we try to make it a memorable event for our managers with various activities taking place over the two days. This year everyone got the benefit from some team building exercises through some dynamic arts and crafts!
