Higgins scores Maximum points in Donegal

The wet weather did not stop the tens of thousands of spectators who were treated to a fantastic weekend’s rallying  on the Donegal International Rally. World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb and his co-driver Daniel Elena powered their works Citroen C4 over the Donegal roads to score a wonderful victory.

However it was not all glory for the Citroen Team as Mark Higgins and Rory Kennedy led the rally after the first day in their Pirelli and Modern Tyre Service Subaru S11 run by the mechanics at Derek McGarrity Motorsport. Loosing out to Loeb was no disgrace for the duo as Mark and Rory’s focus over the weekend was to get maximum Tarmac Championship points so that they could extend their lead in the series ahead of Eugene Donnelly.
